“Tanner” is a ballist whose playing ability is matched only by his manners and gentlemanly play. That being said, he is player of the highest degree. He shows a great deal of ginger and vim on the bases and as a fieldsman, and no player shows more sand than he. He is the gentleman that all mothers would love to have as a son, and all of the fathers as their favorite ballist.
