Independents at 2022 World Tournament

This past weekend, your Independent BBC made the trip to Greenfield Village to compete in the World Base Ball Tournament. It was a time to catch up with old friends from throughout the Midwest and make some new ones as well. We had an extremely tough draw but fought hard throughout the weekend and ended up going 1-2. While we didn’t necessarily get the results we were hoping for, we thoroughly enjoyed our games and the time we spent with family and friends this weekend.

Congrats to the 1st class champion Wheels club from Walker Tavern as well as the 2nd class champion Canton club and the 3rd class champion La De Dah’s. Hurrah to you all!

The Bay City club resumes play on the 27th of August in Brooklyn for matches against our friends from Walker Tavern as well as Saginaw club.
